FoxPlayer is a software utility that lets individuals listen to songs, with support for several file types, including MP1, MP2, MP3, OGG, M3U, PLS and WAV.
The interface has a modern and minimal design. Moreover, it is simple and highly intuitive, meaning that any type of user can work with it, without encountering issues or needing previous experience with computers.
It is possible to toggle between two skins, the default and a smaller, non-obtrusive one. In addition to that, the tool be minimized to the system tray.
The main window is comprised of several buttons that enable you to pause, play or stop a song and go to the previous or next one, as well as control the volume and equalizer. You can toggle between elapsed and remaining time.
This program enables you to create playlists and save them to the hard drive in a M3U or PLS format. It contains details such as title, artist, album, genre and length, and it can be shuffled or sorted according to the aforementioned data.
From the settings panel, you can make the main window always stay on top of other apps, exit after playing, allow files only once in the playlist, read ID3 Tag, allow multiple instances, remember the playlist and last listened song.
To sum up, FoxPlayer is a useful piece of software which lets you listen to audio files, with support for the “drag and drop” feature. CPU and memory usage is minimal and, during our tests, we did not encounter crashes or bugs.
