Apowersoft Screen Recorder Pro 2.0.8 Final

Apowersoft Screen Recorder Pro

Apowersoft Screen Recorder Pro is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help users record their activity and take screenshots.

It sports a clean and intuitive layout that allows you to set up the dedicated parameters with minimum effort.

The program gives you the possibility to record in a full screen mode, a custom region of the screen, webcam video streams, as well as only audio streams.

When it comes to taking screenshots, you are allowed to hide the mouse cursor and main window of the program.

Apowersoft Free Screen Recorder comes packed with several image editing tools built specifically for helping you insert rectangles, ellipses, and arrows, use a pencil and eraser, and highlight areas with different colors.

Additionally, you are allowed to embed text messages, which can be customized in terms of font, size, and color, apply special effects (e.g. sepia, grayscale, blur, sharpen), adjust the levels of brightness, hue, saturation, and contrast, and export the edited pictures to PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, or TIF file format.

The tool enables you to pick the audio input, create scheduled tasks, use hotkeys for a better control over the entire process, which can be reassigned, show a countdown timer before the recoding process, save videos to WMV file format, select the video codec, bitrate, and frame rate.

During our testing we have noticed that Apowersoft Free Screen Recorder carries out a task quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. However, it eats up CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer may be affected.

All in all, Apowersoft Free Screen Recorder offers a decent pack of features for helping you record your screen activity and take screenshots. On the downside, it doesn’t offer very good output results when it comes to video recordings.
